Workplace Discrimination and Harassment Prevention (WDHP) for Staff: This course provides instruction on the roles and responsibilities of staff in creating and maintaining a respectful workplace pursuant to human rights legislation. Through role playing and group interaction, participants gain insight into behaviours that lead to human rights abuse in the workplace. Prevention   through positive   behaviour is stressed and the resolution strategies available through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) are discussed. Psychological harassement, bullying and workplace violence are issues covered in this course. Course can be easily tailored to meet the needs of any organization. Half-day.

Workplace Discrimination and Harassment Prevention (WDHP) for Managers: This course contains the same material as WDHP for Staff (above) plus training in the responsibilities of management team members in administering the human rights policies of the employer. Managers walk through   exercises that prepare them   to be proactive in preventing discrimination and harassement in the workplace.   Participants are instructed, step by step,   how to handle complaints filed by employees. Course can be easily tailored to meet the needs of any organization. Full day.

Occupational Health & Safety in the Federal Jurisdiction: This two-day course covers the basics of the legal requirements of the Canada Labour Code Part II.

This means that coworkers just need a little help learning how to talk to each other more respectfully.
